Hi. My name is Daniel Cork (you have probably guessed that already) and corking design is my personal site. I am a web designer based in Manchester England working full time as lead designer for Code Computerlove. This site is outlet to ramble on, show of what I have been working on and general playground to express myself.
After studying Multimedia Graphics at Staffordshire University, I progressed in my career and I finally ended up in Manchester working freelance. I specialise in site design, XHTML/CSS construction, usability and accessibility.
The odd times when I am not glued to my iMac, I love playing with daughter, playing 5-a-side football, enjoying a bit of Tiger Woods Golf on my Wii, listening to music, going to the cinema and have been known to enjoy the odd beer or two or three or four. This site was hand built by me, on my iMac, using Photoshop, Textmate and Transmit. It has lovingly been sprinkled with bits of jQuery and the best of all Cufon. This site is powered by Textpattern and hosted by MediaTemple on a grid server (gs)
