Robots have always fascinated me, and when my wife and I went over to Tokyo last year I thought I was in heaven, the shops in Akihabara were packed with high tech gadgets. TV’s, computer games and toys you name it they had it. The massive Yodabashi Camera store it had an entire floor dedicated to manga figures, vinyl toys and Gundam figures and every other toy you could imagine, I was like a kid in a candy shop.
So when I came across this lifesize Gundam figure I was blown away, an 18-meter-tall 1:1 scale RX-78 Gundam replica was erected in Shiokaze Park in Tokyo to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the anime/manga/toy/video game franchise. You have to check out the picture and the video to see the lengths they went too.
The RX-78 will emit light, mist can shoot from 14 locations on the body and it’s head moves, this is AWESOME!

These guys really know what they are doing, the attention to detail is crazy.
