I have been using LittleSnapper & Dropbox for a while now and both are great tools in their own right. LittleSnapper unfortunately has one minor problem, there’s no way to sync my library across multiple machines. This has been bugging me for a while so as usual Google to the rescue. The solution was simple, relocate my LittleSnapper Library to a Dropbox folder.

Problem solved, now I have my LittleSnapper library across all the machines I use.

They’re a perfect combination, until you run out of space! I’m right on the limit of the 2GB free account so I need to trim the deadwood from my LS library!
Both great apps though :)

Tom I totally agree bit of a pain when you do eventually run out of space. I have used 54% of my 3GB limit so far had to do a massive clear out the other day because I ran out of space.

Dan, do you need the screenshots to be on your machine? if you don’t then a really good solution would be Jing. You can save captured screenshots on your hard drive or upload them to your own, secure personal folder on their server & it’s free. http://www.jingproject.com/

hey, an even better solution is supplied by http://www.getcloudapp.com. you just need to capture a screenshot with the native mac shortcut, the screenshot will be uploaded to your own webspace and at the some time a short link will be copied to your clipboard. made my life so much easier…this of course you can use in combination with changing the default directory of the screenshots on your mac (a customization you can do with terminal) and by locating your screenshots in your dropbox folder!

I love Little Snapper – in fact I just used it on your site :) – Thanks for the tip, its good to know I can do that especially if I need to get a hold of things that I’ve snapped.
